NATIONAL CADET CORPS

Our college has an NCC facility for students to develop their leadership, character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook and spirit. The main function of NCC is to stand for the country in tough times or when in need. To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed forces.

Every year a large number of our students enrol themselves and manage to clear ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate exams. Our NCC Cadets participated enthusiastically in various social and humanitarian activities like Blood Donation, Tree Plantation, Swachch Bharat Abhiyan etc.

NCC ARMY WING ACTIVITIES IN 2020-21

• 1. International Yoga Day: International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June 2020, 32 NCC cadets of our college participated online in this event.
• 2. Tree Plantation: 7 NCC cadets of our college participated in this program on 22 July 2020.
• 3. Independence Day Parade: Independence Day was celebrated by all NCC cadets in New Grain Market, Karnal. 12 NCC cadets of our college attended the parade. NCC cadets.
• 4. Fit India youth club: 35 cadets took pledge online in the program on 15 August 2020.
• 5. Fit India movement: 35 cadets participated in the program and did lots of physical activity like yoga, cycling, running and exercise.
• 6. Webinar on career in armed forces & image management: The Webinar was organized on 29 September 2020 and 4 NCC cadets of our college participated in Webinar.
• 7. Constitution day youth club: 27 cadets participated in the program and cadets took pledge online, made poster and took part in easy writing activities. The activities have been started from 17 Nov. to 13 Dec. 2020
• 8. NCC Day Celebration: NCC Day was celebrated in our college on 22 November 2020 and all NCC cadets of our college participated in the event.
• 9. NCC Cadet Selection: More than 100 students of our college took participate in NCC Cadet Selection Procedure on 15 December 2020. 22 students were selected for NCC Cadet.
• 10. Republic Day Parade: Republic Day was celebrated by all NCC cadets in our college and 14 NCC cadets of our college attended the parade in NDRI, Karnal. Boys NCC cadets got 1st position in drill competition and girls NCC cadets got 2nd position in drill competition.
• 11. Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-125): The camp was conducted in Govt. College, Karnal on 03 to 08 February 2021 and 17 NCC cadets of our college attended the camp.
• 12. Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-126): The camp was conducted in Govt. College, Karnal on 08 to 10 February 2021 and 17 NCC cadets of our college attended the camp.
• 13. 'C' Certificate Exam 2020-21: 'C' Certificate Exam was conducted in S.D. College, Ambala Cant. on 07 March 2021 and 19 NCC cadets of our college appeared in this examination.
• 14. 'B' Certificate Exam 2020-21: 'B' Certificate Exam was conducted in Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Karnal on 14 March 2021 and 17 NCC cadets of our college appeared in this examination.

NCC ARMY WING ACTIVITIES IN 2019-20

• 1. World No Tobacco Day: World No Tobacco Day was celebrated in College, Karnal on 31 May 2019 and 32 NCC cadets of our college participated in this event.
• 2. International Yoga Day: International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June 2019 in Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Karnal and 32 NCC cadets of our college participated in this event.
• 3. Army Attachment Camp: The camp was conducted in Ambala 16 to 30 July 2019 and 3 NCC cadets of our college attended the camp.
• 4. NCC Cadet Selection: More than 110 students of our college took participate in NCC Cadet Selection Procedure on 09 August 2019. 24 students were selected for NCC Cadet.
• 5. Independence Day Parade: Independence Day was celebrated by all NCC cadets in New Grain Market, Karnal. 12 NCC cadets of our college attended the parade. NCC cadets got 1st position in drill competition (Boys) and 2nd position in drill competition (Girls).
• 6. International Day Against Drug Abuse: International Day Against Drug Abuse was celebrated by our 31 NCC cadets on 27 June 2019. They took participate in water donation service at Karnal Bus Stand.
• 7. Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-148): The camp was conducted in Geeta Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) at Kanipla, Kurukshetra on 30 August to 08 September 2019 and 29 NCC cadets of our college attended the camp. In the camp, our cadets got the 2nd position in drill competition (Boys), 2nd position in drill competition (Girls), 2nd position in declamation competition and 2nd position in shooting (boys).
• 8. Swachhta Pakhwada Cycle Rally: A Pan India cycle rally conducted on 20 September to 29 September 2019. 5 NCC cadet took participate in that cycle rally.
• 9. Surgical Strike Day: As decided by the Government of India, 29th September 2019 was observed as Surgical Strike Day. Our 54 NCC cadet took participate in that activity and there was screened a movie “Uri, The Surgical Strike” in college.
• 10. NCC Day Celebration: NCC Day was celebrated in our college on 24 November 2019 and all NCC cadets of our college participated in the event.
• 11. Voter Day: Voter Day was celebrated in our college on 25 January 2020 and all NCC cadets of our college participated in the competition.
• 12. Independence Day Celebration 2020: Independence was celebrated in New Anaj Mandi, Karnal and 15 NCC cadets of our college were selected for March Past Parade. Rest of the cadets celebrated Independence Day in our college.
• 13. Online EBSB Camp: Ek Bharat Shareshth Bharat Camp was organized from 22 to 27 March 2021 and 4 NCC cadets of our college participated in the camp.
